Between 18 – 27 years
Age Relaxation – 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC / ST.
Pay Scale:
Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Pay Level 4 ₹ 25500 – 81100/- plus admissible allowances.
Postman: Pay Level 3 ₹ 21700 – 69100/- plus admissible allowances.
Educational Qualifications:
Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Matric with 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education. The candidates will be required to furnish at least 60 days duration basic computer training certificate from a recognized Computer Training Institute before issuance of appointment letter. If candidates studied basic computer knowledge in Class XII or Higher education qualification, the separate computer certificate not required.
Postman: The candidate must have passed 12th Standard from a recognized Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education. The candidate will be required to furnish certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer Training Institute before issuance of appointment letter. Knowledge of Local Language.
Sports Qualifications:
- Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any of the required games/ sports.
- Sportsmen who have represented their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the required games/sports.
- Sportsmen who have represented the State Schools Teams in the National Sports/ Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federations in any of the required games/ sports.
- Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
