In reference to the letter no. IOA/VFI/1-26/2023/1355 dated 13 June, 2023 selection trials for the upcoming Asian Games will be conducted by a duly constituted selection committee.
Selection trials Venue & Dates:
Venue: SAI, NSSC , Bengaluru
Date for Men: 27th, 28th & 29th June 2023
Date for Women: 29th, 30th June and 1st July 2023
Reporting time: 8 AM
Last date of registration: 26th June, 2023 till 1 PM for Men, 28th June, 2023 till 1 PM for Women.
All the Volleyball players are eligible to participate in the said trials and final selection will be done during the trials based on the following parameters:
- Height
- Standing reach
- Spike Jump reach
- Block Jump reach
- Performance in game situation

Important Points:
- Decision of the selection committee will be final
The decision of selection committee to take call on interpretation of particular rule at the time of selection trials will be at its sole discretion. - The selection of trials will be video recorded
- All expenditure (travel, boarding, lodging and registration fees etc.) towards
participation in the above trials will be borne by participating players. - All players will report in proper sports apparel for the trials. • All participants should follow applicable Covid guidelines
- Participation of the selected teams in the Asian Games will be subject to the criteria for fielding of Indian contingent for the Asian Games after further assessment of wining probability of the team.
