SELECTION TRIAL FOR INDUCTION OF OUTSTANDING SPORTS. BOYS IN ARCHERY AND FOOTBALL INTO ARMY BOYS SPORTS COMPANY 58 GORKHA TRAINING CENTRE, SHILLONG

1. Boys Sports Company, 58 Gorkha Training Centre, Shillong is a joint venture between Sports Authority of India and Indian Army with a provision to select and groom potential talent in selected sports discipline to improve and achieve our medal prospectus in future international Sports Competitions.
2. Boys Sports Company. 58 Gorkha Training Centre. Shillong will be conducting a selection trials for the induction of raw and proven players as Sports Cadets in Archery and Football at this Centre. Induction Rally will be conducted from 05 May to 07 May at Gaje Ghale Ground. 58 Gorkha Training Centre.
3. During the selection trials the candidates will be tested in physical fitness and technical skill in their respective disciplines by Army Sports Medicine Centre, Pune. Sports Authority of India Coaches and Board of Officers (BOO). The selected candidates will be called up to join Boys Sports Company, after final approval is received.
4. The Gorkha Candidates only from the following states are eligible for participation in the trials:-
   (a) Assam (b) Arunachal Pradesh (c) Meghalaya (d) Manipur (e) Mizoram (f) Nagaland (g) Sikkim
   

Selection Trials Date & Time

Date: 05 May 2022
Time: 0600 h to 0900h.
Venue: 58 Gorkha Train i ng Centre, Happy Valley, Shillong.

Eligibility:
Age Between 08- 14 years age as on 05 May 2022 (The candidates born between 05 May 2008 to 05 May 2014)
Education Minimum class IV standard pass with adequate knowledge of English

Important Documents to be submitted at this BSC

Candidates must be in possession of following at the time of selection trials

• Original copy of Residence/Domicile Certificate (Address Proof.
• Original copy of birth certificate.
• Original copy of Educational Qualification Certificates from School.
• Original copy of Religion/Cast/Sub Caste Certificate.
• Original copy of Character Certificate.
• Original copy of Aadhar Card
• Passport Size Photographs- 10 Copies.
• Original copy of Sports participation certificate in district and above levels. Only candidates who have won medals at District/State/National championship will be considered for selection.

Note: Original to be shown at the time of selection trials One CTC of all certificates to be deposited with the application form

Facilities

 Selected candidates will be provided the following facilities by the Boys Sports Company, free of cost:

• Boarding and Lodging.
• Sports Competition exposure all expenditure.
• Daily sports training under the coaches of Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Regimental Coaches.
• Complete personnel Sports Kit and equipment every year.
• Insurance coverage including medical and accidental cover.
