FC Goa’s Ishan Pandita Joined Jamshedpur FC

Jamshedpur FC has agreed on a transfer fee of 60 Lakhs INR with FC Goa for the transfer of Ishan Pandita

Rising from the academies of Spain, the 23-year-old signed with FC Goa last year after a stint with Tercera Divison club Pobla Mafumet. He soon became an integral part of the Gaurs making nine appearances from the bench. He was mostly used by Juan Ferrando as a super-sub and he relinquished that role scoring as many as four goals coming off the bench. Pandita also started in five games for FC Goa in the AFC Champions League. The striker also made his Indian National Team debut in March earlier this year against Oman.

FC Goa had triggered a two-year extension in his contract a few weeks back but the club is now all set to sell the player to Jamshedpur FC for about 60 Lakhs INR. The Red Miners has now added more firepower to their front line with the inclusion of Ishan Pandita alongside the ranks of Nerijus Valskis and Jordan Murray.

Having missed out on the playoffs last season, Jamshedpur has been very active in the transfer market so far. Peter Hartley and Alex Lima have been extended, while veteran Indian defender Anas Edathodika and youngster PC Laldinpuia have been brought in. Komal Thatal has also been acquired from ATK Mohun Bagan.
