Day 15 of Pro Kabaddi Season 9 promises to be another exciting one with two matches slated to take place at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. Bengaluru Bulls will meet Patna Pirates in the first game while U.P. Yoddhas will face Tamil Thalaivas in the second game.

Match 36: Bengaluru Bulls vs Patna Pirates
Bengaluru Bulls made a good comeback in their previous game against U Mumba to register a win and are currently in third position on the points table. The Bulls have secured four wins and suffered two losses so far. Bharat and Vikash Kandola have been a deadly duo for them with 61 and 49 raid points respectively. In defence, Saurabh Nandal has been their best tackler with 19 tackle points. Meanwhile, Aman and captain Mahender Singh have scored 14 and 11 tackle points respectively and will have important roles to play in defence for Bengaluru Bulls.
Patna Pirates, on the other hand, got their first win of the season against Dabang Delhi K.C. in their last match. Prior to this win, the Neeraj Kumar-led side had suffered four losses and played a tie. Sachin and Rohit Gulia have taken on the raiding responsibility for the Pirates with 49 and 47 raid points respectively so far. However, they will need more support in attack from the rest of their teammates to start winning games consistently. The Pirates’ defence has looked solid of late with Mohammadreza Chiyaneh contributing 10 tackle points in four games. Sunil has been their best defender with 17 tackle points while skipper Neeraj Kumar has scored seven tackle points and will be keen to lead his troops from the front.
Bengaluru Bulls vs Patna Pirates head-to-head
Bengaluru Bulls and Patna Pirates have met on 19 occasions. Out of which, Bengaluru Bulls have won five games while Patna Pirates have won 12 matches. Two games finished in ties.
Match 37: U.P. Yoddhas vs Tamil Thalaivas
U.P. Yoddhas have two wins and three losses to their name and are sitting in eighth position in the standings. Surender Gill has been an important cog in the wheel for the Yoddhas and has scored 61 raid points. He has been supported by Pardeep Narwal who has amassed 50 raid points so far. These star raiders have done the bulk of the scoring for the Yoddhas in the raiding department and would welcome more help in attack from their teammates. In defence, Ashu Singh has been their top defender with 14 tackle points, while the defensive duo of Sumit and Nitesh Kumar have contributed 10 tackle points each for the Yoddhas.
Meanwhile, Tamil Thalaivas have one win, three losses and a tie after their first five games and are in 10th position on the points table. Narender has gone about his business very quietly for the Thalaivas and has scored 46 raid points, making him the team’s top raider. He’s been supported by Himanshu Singh, who has looked good in phases and has notched up 19 raid points so far. Both Narender and Himanshu Singh will need to be at their best if Tamil Thalaivas are to beat U.P. Yoddhas. As far as their defence goes, Sagar has led the Thalaivas from the front and has accumulated 12 tackle points thus far. The likes of Sahil Gulia and M. Abishek have also chipped in defensively with 11 and seven tackle points respectively.
U.P. Yoddhas vs Tamil Thalaivas head-to-head
U.P. Yoddhas and Tamil Thalaivas have faced each other in 10 matches. Out of these, U.P. Yoddhas have won four matches while Tamil Thalaivas have won three times. Three games ended in ties.
