The 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championship will kick off on 26th October and will end on 6th November. Moreover, the tournament will be held in Belgrade, Serbia. Also, this will be the first time in the history of the boxing championship that the players will receive significant prize money after winning.
More than 600 athletes from 105 countries will be competing in the tournament. AIBA will also be making a fresh start in the term of appearances as they are introducing commemorative belts and white gloves. Athletes will be competing in a total of 13 categories. The revised weight for men are increased from 10 to 13, and are 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg, 86kg, 92kg, and +92kg.
