Sandringham SC is pleased to announce trials for 2024 Boys and Girls U10-U17 age groups for the 2024 season. They will be run by Melbourne City FC coaches to ensure complete impartiality and professionalism.
Trials aim to identify talented and motivated players who are passionate about their football and strive to improve their personal skill and team performance, and are suited to the selective Graded Teams. The trials not only enable the club to select graded teams in each age group, but also provides everyone with a chance to get back into playing soccer.
Whilst trials are not mandatory, players of all ages and abilities are invited to attend for their age group.
Players are expected to attend both trial sessions for their age. If you cannot attend all sessions please email registrations@sandringhamsc.com.au to let us know.
At the conclusion of the trials, successful players will be expected to participate in off-season team training and tournaments.
Registration for the trials is mandatory, there is no fee to trial.
All trials will be held at Sandringham Secondary College, Bluff Rd, Sandringham. Enter via Lansell ave at rear of school.
Players to wear soccer boots and shin pads, and we would strongly encourage all attendees to bring along a drink bottle. Whilst boys and girls can trial in runners if necessary, anyone without shin pads will not be able to participate on the day.
Scheduled dates for each age group are outlined below:
U10 Boys: Sundays 19 and 26 November – 10.30am to 12 noon
U10 and U11 Girls: Sundays 19 and 26 November – 10.30am to 12 noon
U11 Boys: Sundays 19 and 26 November – 12.30pm to 2pm
U12 and U13 Girls: Sundays 19 and 26 November – 12.30pm to 2pm
U12 and U13 Boys: Sundays 19 and 26 November – 2.30pm to 4pm;
U14 and U15 Boys: Sundays 3 and 10 December – 10.30am to 12noon;
U14 and U15 Girls: Sundays 3 and 10 December – 10.30am to 12noon;
U16 and U17 Boys: Sundays 3 and 10 December – 12.30pm to 2pm;
U16 and U17 Girls: Sundays 3 and 10 December – 12.30pm to 2pm
All players must arrive 15 minutes prior to their nominated trial time to complete the daily registration process and number allocation by Melbourne City FC.
