Head Coach – YFC Football Academy.

Location –YFC Rurka Kalan, Phagwara, – Punjab
Main Purpose of the Role
We are recruiting for an YFC Academy Head Coach to facilitate the coaching programme for all
academy players and staff across the age groups in line with the Academy’s Performance Plan. The
person will develop the wider academy programme, contributing towards the academy coaching and
playing philosophy as well as any broader development of the Academy.
To manage and monitor the implementation and development of the coaching programme to ensure
excellence in all areas, as well as overseeing the development and delivery of the coaching staff in
line with the Coach Competency Framework.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Conduct relevant training needs analysis of all coaches current and required level of
performance.
• To establish a sustainable system and approach to coach development within the Academy.
• To develop coaches so that they improve and perform to the best of their potential and are
consequently able to maximise the potential of the players that they work with
• To performance manage the day-to-day performance of Academy Coaches.
• Conduct a formal programme of observing coach performance and provide effective feedback
for development.
• Monitor the coaching process and methodology across all phases within the Academy to
ensure highest standards are maintained in line with the YFC Academy Performance Plan.
• Provide 1:1 coaching to coaches in order to develop the coach’s skill
• Establish and continually refine Season Plans for the age groups, shaping the player
development programme in line with group and individual player needs.
• Lead weekly Multi Team meetings guiding holistic player development.
• Lead coaching sessions across the age groups which align with Season Plan commitments &
Players Individual Learning Plans (ILP’s).
• Manage game programmes for designated age groups in line with the Season Plans to ensure
teams and players compete appropriately.
• Co-ordinate and line manage the coaching staff and support their development.
• Co-ordinate, shape & lead the delivery of analysis and ILP sessions in line with player needs.
• Ensure coaches have a clear understanding & acceptance of their development needs.
• Collaborate with Coaches in overseeing coaching and multi-disciplinary activities across the
Age Groups.
• Develop & progress adaptable coaches capable of performing to a high standard & delivering
appropriate coaching practice across the Age Groups.
• Assist in coaching sessions with all Age Groups across the Academy.
• To report bi-annually to the Academy Manager on overall progress and development within
the Academy and to represent collective views on the future development and direction of the
coaching program.
• Travel with High performance team for league matches and tournaments.
• Develop and implement Long term player development programme

Qualifications:
AFC A Licence Preferred.
AFC B Licence Desirable
Extensive experience (minimum 8 years) of coaching and/or coach development
Sports Science Degree
Emergency First Aid certificate
Experience:
• The ability to manage elite age-group players showing positive energy and enthusiasm
• An experience and understanding of Safeguarding and Welfare of players and staff.
• Involved in a role with significant amount of mentoring/coaching
• Running and designing development programmes
• Organisation, computer, and timekeeping skills
• Working within a team environment

Assistant Head Coach – YFC Football Academy. (Female)

Location – YFC Rurka Kalan, Phagwara – Punjab
Main Purpose of the Role
We are recruiting for an YFC Football Academy Assistant – Head Coach (Female) to support the Head
Coach in facilitating the coaching programme for all academy players and staff across the age groups
in line with the Academy’s Performance Plan. The person will support in developing the wider
academy programme, contributing towards the academy coaching, and playing philosophy as well as
any broader development of the Academy.
To Support, manage, and monitor the implementation and development of the coaching programme
to ensure excellence in all areas, as well as overseeing the development and delivery of the coaching

• To complete the required documentation for all affiliations and registrations of team & players.
• To execute any other responsibilities assigned by authorities at YFC Football Academy.

Qualifications:
AFC B Licence Preferred,
AFC C Licence Desirable,
