Reaching the midpoint of the 2023 Championship, the Austrian Grand Prix takes center stage. Following this, the action continues with two more European rounds, and the excitement extends with seven events in Asia and Oceania. Ultimately, the season will wrap up in Valencia, Spain, come November.

After ten rounds in 2023, Francesco Bagnaia dominates with four Grand Prix wins, three Sprint victories, and six podiums. He holds a 41-point lead over Jorge Martin and 47 over Marco Bezzecchi.

Fueled by determination following a challenging Silverstone weekend, Enea Bastianini arrives in Austria, eager to reconnect with the Desmosedici GP. Notably, last year at Zeltweg, the Rimini rider secured pole position, setting the circuit record at 1:28.772.

“I’m excited to return to Austria, a track I enjoy, where I secured a satisfying victory last year. The track suits our bike’s traits historically, and this year, numerous riders are expected to contend for good results. Our aim is to maintain consistency and perform our best consistently. I have confidence and am eagerly anticipating the weekend.” said Bagnaia

Meanwhile, Bastianini shared, “The previous Silverstone Grand Prix didn’t meet our expectations; however, it marked my first full weekend without physical setbacks. We collected vital data for future advancements. Currently, I’m striving to reconnect with my Desmosedici GP, aiming to regain the competitive edge through improved sensation.”
