Job Description:
- We seek an experienced Basketball Coach to join our multi-sport facility at Sabarmati Riverfront Park to:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to guide athletes of various age groups and skill levels.
- Create a positive and supportive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- To develop and execute a well-structured basketball training program tailored to meet the needs of athletes belonging to different age groups and skill levels.
To organise practice sessions that are engaging, challenging, and promote skill development. - To evaluate athletes’ performances and to provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and technique.
- To collaborate with relevant sporting organisations and governing bodies to help academy students register for state and national championships.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Basketball Coach and a sound knowledge of Basketball rules, strategies, and techniques.
Organisational and time management skills to plan and execute training sessions and manage multiple responsibilities. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate practice sessions, games, and events.
